The branding project for “Andinos,” a Malbec wine hailing from Mendoza, exudes elegance and authenticity. The design embraces minimalism, emphasizing quality over excess. On the bottom side of the label – a sleek black rectangle – bears the cursive word “Andinos,” evoking sophistication and personal touch. Meanwhile, the right side features four gray words—“ELEGANT,” “DARING,” “AUTHENTIC,” and “PERSONAL”—hinting at the wine’s character. Above these words, a small vibrant crimson square symbolizes the rich hue of Malbec, as well as the audacious nature of the brand. This concept invites wine enthusiasts seeking an upscale experience that transcends mere taste.
Crafting a Narrative: The Story Behind Andinos isn’t just a wine; it’s an exploration of Mendoza’s terroir. The vineyards, nestled at 3,000 feet in Lujan de Cuyo, yield grapes with depth and complexity. The soil—deep loamy-clay with round rock subsoil—nurtures vines that produce exceptional Malbec. Hand-harvested in early March, the grapes undergo a gentle two-day cold maceration, followed by an 8-day fermentation. The result? A soft, approachable wine with a supple mouthfeel. Three months of oak aging add complexity, making Andinos a delightful choice for those who appreciate authenticity.
